On Wednesday June 16, a super fabulous 91yr old woman threw out the first pitch at a KC TBones game in Community America Ballpark. Jean Scott enjoyed sports and always wanted to throw out the first pitch at a baseball game. We were first contacted back in April by Delaware Highlands Assisted Living Center staffer Susan and asked if we could donate limousine transportation to help with the surprise. We asked for information to be sent over and after reviewing the awesome surprise they had in store for Jean we knew we wanted to be involved. We called back and immediately agreed. Susan told me that most of the companies cut her off and or hung up on her, that we were the only ones that were interested in hearing her out. While that makes me sad, I am happy she found us. Being a small local business I can attest to the fact that we get a lot of requests for donations. We are not able to honor all requests but we do try to give back to the community where we can. We opened a little over a year ago with one town car and one rented limo. We had two employees ( I am one of those two). As we hit our one year anniversary, we look back at our progress and the part of our mission statement to always give back. Seeing Jean Scott throw out that first pitch may not mean much to many but to us it was awesome to be a part of her bucket list wish and see her smile.

  1. This is outstanding what you were able to do for this Senior citizen and make this a sports event for her to remember. I praise you as a small business owner for your help giving back. I haven’t used your services yet but you are now 1 st on my list for my upcoming event.
